In a vaguely futuristic Japanese version of San Francisco, a middle school-aged robotics whiz has the technology he's developed stolen by a villain, and is forced to outfit his college friends with advanced technology to combat the threat, along with his brother's languid balloon robot.

All three of my kids wanted to see it on Thanksgiving weekend; it may wind up being the last film the five of us will ever watch in the theater as a family.

Everyone enjoyed it - it was very well done.
