Not that I don't feel warm feelings for Recker, and Prickly ones for Turner, but wasn't that a spot better suited for the latter.

If I'm playing Strat-o-Matic, I pull out Turner's card every time there.

Then, I guess, either (1) Terry was lying, (2) Terry was hoping Duda or Recker would either fail to get the runner home or end it by plating two, (3) Terry hadn't really thought it through, (4) Terry was prepared to use Turner only if forced by a tie, or (5) it's a big congratulations to Zach Lutz or Daniel Murphy or Juan Lageres on a first MLB appearance at shortstop.

It's been hard to deal with being shortbenched. It's particularly nettlesome in September.
