Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Its wacky weird as Harang knotches his 10 k of the day.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 They really ought to be starting Brown. How did he fall out of the rotation so fast?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Nice try Lags. Shudda had it tho. You're that good.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Harang, followed by Feliciano, followed by Atchison.Go AARPs!!!

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Thank you for allowing EY to steal Laggy. Now drive him in!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 RageWynn ?@RageWynn 4mOmfg Frank Francisco wear your hat like the grown ass adult you are you fucking buffoon.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Our bullpen has suddenly and convincingly become the worst thing ever.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Now Jason Werth is going all Rage Wynn at Francisco
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Hmm. Interesting. FF plunks Werth, probably intentional. Shaddup and go to first Werth.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 I just mentally designated Francisco for assignment.Francisco, Felciano, and Byrdak, that's three guys who've spent half the year recovering, rehabbing, and minor-leaguing, none signed for next year, all getting real innings and stuff.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Duda didn't hesitate, I'll give him that. Be careful Tejeda..

If Terry were really trying to make an impression to get re-signed, would he be pitching this guy?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Ronnie says that should have been FFs last pitch in a Met uniform. You go guy.Nice play Lucas.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Speak the truth to power, Ronnie.

If Terry were really trying to make an impression to get re-signed, would he be pitching this guy?How much of TCs planning do you think is, not dictated, but suggested to him by the Alderson side of the camp? It could be he has been told that certain players need to be seen, or looked at. Showcased? If this were earlier in the season I would agree with you.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Maybe, but (1) the official position is that Terry needs to showcase himself, and (2) as if Francisco is going to be re-signed?Terry, whatever his graces, is bringing his horse down the home stretch in a most Art Hovian manner.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 I'd find it real hard to believe that anyone in the front office is even nudging (much less pushing or ordering) Terry to pitch Frank-Frank as often as possible.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Hey, a home run for the Nats.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 (edited) I know Terry doesn't have much to work with but this is embarrasing of late...Nice job Harangutang, you may be a 2014 Met... Edited September 12, 2013 by Guest
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Likely Davey's last game managing in NY. I think for a goofhe corked a couple dozen bats for this series.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 At least we got innings from Harang. If he's hungry to pitch we have innings to feed him.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 @AdamKilgoreWP: "It's a good thing we don't play them again." -- Davey on Francisco hitting Werth.Davey, STFU. We love you, but no one is defending FF and you're never going to manage a game against "them" again so stop the big talk.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Only the second-most pathetic four-game series at Citi Field of which I attended three-quarters (all but the Wheeler start). The August sweep by the Rockies last year was slightly worse. Nats can slug, Mets can't hit, the paid attendance figures were fraudulent and there ya go. Perhaps 400 people remained by finale's end.FF pretty clearly intentionally plunked Werth. It earned him half a Schaefer point from me.
