Visiting Baseball Prospectus and auditing the 2013 Mets they list the top three pitching performers, in terms of PWARP (presumably Pitching Wins Above Replacement Players).

1. Matt Harvey: 2.8 PWARP
2. Dillon Gee 0.9 PWARP
3. Shaun Marcum: 0.8 PWARP

I'll take, for the sake of argument, Gee over Hefner and Niese and Parnell. Sure. But Marcum? Really? I know he was better than his record (so am I, but the way), but... Marcum?
