Those of us in the "DMV" (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) will not get the game. Because it's on FOX, the game is blacked out on mlb.tv and Extra Innings (this changes in 2014).

FOX cares so little about baseball that it has Ashton Kutcher's brother calling the game! He's not but I've never heard of the guy. He has worked baseball games as a statistician so when Kenny said that he couldn't make it, perhaps Justin said "I'd do it" and now he is calling a primetime game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Kutcher. Joining Justin is a magazine writer. It used to be an honor to work a televised sporting event on a national network, but now anyone can do it!

Sunday's game is on ESPN (this is the game that necessitated the move of Banner Day) so Gary, Keith, Ron and Guys! get two days off.

That's a pet peeve of mine. I remember noticing that WFAN hosts were widely guilty of that, especially Francesa and Russo. I was reminded of that last week when my daughter was watching Teen Nick Countdown and Nick Cannon was asking a question of some cute young female singer, and instead of just asking the damn question, he went into a lengthy explanation of why he was asking the question and how his interest in her answer related to his own experiences.

It was maddening.

Political folks are often guilty of that too.
They ask questions with these ridiculously long preambles that sound designed more to impress their colleagues than actually get a coherent or usable answer.

I think a lot of these people, particularly some of the ones mentioned, think it's their show. The 'guest' is just a teaser to get you to watch/listen to them. Francesa wants you to hear what he has to say, a guest is just a useful topic.

Politicians, especially when using planted/prepared questions, really just want to talk at you.
