What are you hoping will happen with Terry Collins?

I think they will go easy on him and let the no-new-contract thing reveal itself in the standings.

I hope he finishes the season, because that would suggest he won't have done terribly poorly.

I guess that means I hope he gets an extension, because that would suggest he will have done rather well.

I think he sees out the season....to me the GM is at fault , he has not given Collins much to work with, no margin for error at all with this squad.


Can we check the GM's temp?

The season unspools, and Terry's there at the end, because he's doing everything that management asks, and really, does it matter all that much?

whether it's Terry's fault or not, I don't see an advantage in him finishing out the season...it's not like he's still going to be here when the team is good again...pass the torch to Backman and/or Teufel on an interim basis to give a little evaluation time before having to pick the next guy...It would be hard to give either of those 2 guys a shot at the MLB level to start the season, but on an interim basis, you get a sneak-peak...
