So the Mets scheduled Banner Day for Sunday afternoon, May 26. Sounds good, right? You can even hang your banner across the front of the garage the next day when you have your Memorial Day barbecue. Well, ESPN has moved the game to the nighttime slot. What to do?

The Mets responded by putting out a poll, asking fans whether they preferred to keep the date despite the later hour or move it to one of two other dates. Sounds like a fan-friendly idea to me, and it must be a good idea if even noted nudge Howard Megdal agrees.
