Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Not that we needed any additional reasons to avoid the ugly place, but:http://blog.sfgate.com/sportsevents/2012/10/09/ranking-the-dirtiest-ballparks-in-america/#7712-25UFE said the worst thing about Yankee Stadium was how the vendors handle the food. But they didn't elaborate. However, everyday Yankees fans apparently aren't the cleanest bunch themselves. Just 54 percent of men actually washed their hands after using the bathroom; women were much better, washing their hands 94 percent of the time, according to UFE. The bathrooms aren't that sanitary, either. The faucets are hands free, but what's the point when the soap and paper-towel dispenser aren't? Bottom line: NEVER shake hands with a Yankee fan without having one of those little things of hand sanitizer.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 There was some question that the restrooms fixtures looked like they were salvaged from the Old Yankee Stadium or possibly brought over from Shea Stadium. Maybe that is why the male Yankee fans run out of the restroom before they do there paperwork.Dig at Shea and some bad grammar.
