nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Mets will send Dillon Gee to the mound against Anthony Bass for the Padres.Let's get back in the win column!!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 If Tom Trebelhorn was managing, he'd never let Anthony Bass pitch.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 I've ordered a Bass-kicking.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Let's make this Bass-tard look like a moron.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Lunchpail sees Venable on the scoreboard and asks, "is he a boy or a girl?"

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 I bet they liked that Mayday homer by Dudissima also.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Seriously , Ike looks way out in front every freaking time he takes that big looping swing....can he choke up or something to stop that carry on?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Will Venable, apart form being a big league legacy, is a Princeton grad.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 I completely support Duda laying a bunt down here.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 I hope so FK................Keith with the great story about grooving bats back in the day..
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Venable should be out of the game. Come on.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Yeah, about half his home field production on the season has come tonight.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012 DILLON GEE works out of the jam! 9 strikeeouts!
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 probably biggest risk of the game, probably (crosses fingers) safe now. would like to see Ike pop one here though.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Torres knocks Duda out of the game.Byrdie coming in for a full inning?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 I don't care how long it's been, the Mets on WPIX just feels wrong.

I'll take it.Yeah, looks like we're going to have to settle for that.He went to first-pitch hacking in each of his last two ABs so maybe that patience thing was short-lived, plus Bud Black countered with the side-winding lefty.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Sure is pleasant when we win and ours is the first game of the night that's over.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Good game though , Gee was excellent , Keith was in good form, liking that the summer is coming , seemed to be a bit tongue in cheek when saying Memorial Day is here, less days off.....Regarding Ike....Christ , he comes up and all I am hoping for is that he doesn't swing at all at the first offering , even with the two he knocked in it looked like the same shitty swing but the pitch was down so ho got it..........
