Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 Mount KilimanjaroVery often I dream Africa, Where I belonged to the land in my previous births.Once I talked friendly with mount Kilimanjaro.'I want to draw you on a canvas for an Exhibition.''First you have to climb, my dear painter.'But I missed several occasions and never tried again. Now when I see her in my dreams as a sculptorShe acts like a strangerAnd never talk about our bygone incidents.I feel like a dwarf beneath the mountain. --- Nimal Dumhinga
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 How selfish of Dickey to post such a beautiful scene while we freeze , SC turned all the way upI'm guessing we won't see that scene framed and mounted in Sandy's office.
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Word up, Kilimanjaro.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I wonder if Bobby Ojeda is still pissed off about all this.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 The funny thing is that the stories about Ojeda --- particularly from the year the Mets had six starters and he and Darling alternated being the odd man out --- suggests that his lifestyle didn't exactly place him under glass while he was pitching for the Mets. To say nothing of drunk boating at night as an Indian.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 That Racaniello guy gets some cool vacations. Wasn't he also the guy who Wright dared to bike from Jersey to PSL ... in February and with no money?

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Fair play to Wilpon for his donation that put them "over the top". Picture to the right of the Times articlefor a brief second I thought it was Dicley.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 I just set beautiful free at my end.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Cheers to RA Dickey for giving a shit about something important and bigger than himself and sports, and actually doing something about it instead of sending a tweet saying, "this is really bad, yall!" #donate_some$$. I'm not gonna climb Kilimanjaro or anything, but I just gave Bombay Teen Challenge my Friday night fancy craft beer money & will drink High Life (from a can) tonight instead. #RADickey #ChampagneOfBeers #donate_some$$ #irony
