Good news for the Mets in their quest for 3d place... Stanton is out for the rest of the series. Too bad for Guys! as he won't be able to see his man-crush.

I'd like to see that displayed on the Scoreboard of the '80s.

Rain delay in Miami Gardens. They should really move to a new ballpark.

I'll never understand why they didn't just build an outdoor park in the same part of Miami where the CSI crew hangs out. It never rains there.
In fact, the sun shines indoors there.

I hate when pitchers (Mets pitchers specifically) start pitching scared when a guy gets in scoring position in the fourth. My God, man! Get the hitter! One run won't kill you! Throw a strike!

OK, so you got out of it. What do I know? You still raised the stakes intolerably by walking the bases loaded. That strategy isn't sustainable. If you don't believe me, ask Mike Pelfrey about opening day.

I can't see too good. Is that Karl Wallenda you got pitching on that Met mound, there?

Guys! is telling the VAL! PAS-CUCCI! song story.

Gary responds by wishing aloud for a Pascucci-Herrera sight gag or two before season's end.

Thank goodness Paulino got a ground rule double, so he didn't have to run to second.

Ribeye double, followed by a nice snatch to rob Pagan-- Dobbs seems pretty thirsty for Landshark.

Batista totally Isringhausening it out there (ineffectively effective).

Baxter comes to bat and they show a photo of Blaine Boyer on the scoreboard.

Now that's ineffectively effective.

If the scoreboard operator makes a loud mistake, and less than 1,000 announced are around to see it, does it make a sound?

even if they saw it, probably thought Boyer was pinch hitting anyway.

I'm beginning to think Angel might need some Ritalin.

Pagan would be a great outfielder if he didn't do that all the time.
