Nationals did the same thing on the same day.Marlins are 45-49 in last place but just 1.5 games behind the Mets and 1.0 behind WashingtonAfter turning in a stunningly bad 5-23 month of June, the Marlins are now 10-4 in July including wins in 8 of their last 9 games. Helps a bit that their last 7 games have come against Houston & Chicago.They're 13-9 under octogenarian manager Jack McKeon.All-purpose guy Emilio Bonafacio has been leading off and is playing 3B these days.Omar Infante (2B), Gaby Sanchez (1B) & Hanley Ramirez fill out the IF. Hanley has recently woken up [.383/.482/.660 in July] from his season-long slumber.Power hitting Mike Stanton (RF), Logan Morrison (LF) and, as of about a week ago, ex-NYM Mike Cameron have been handling the OFJohn Buck does most of the catching.Reliever Clay Hensley is making his first appearance since June 1st (DL - shoulder) and his first start in almost 3 years (July 24, 2008 for SD)Chris Capuano starts for the Mets.Major DL - only OF Chris Coughlin. Well also that Josh Johnson guy but that doesn't come into play for this one-game series.
