Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) Re-start the 2nd half with games at CF on:- Friday (7:10) - Worley vs Dickey- Saturday (4:10) - Hamels v Niese- Sunday (1:10) - TBA v PelfreyWorley has faced the Mets three times in his thus far short career, 1 inning of relief in 2010 and 2 starts this season.Start #1, on 4/29, he blanked the Mets on 2 hits over 6 IPs and got the win.Start #2, ironically* on 5/29, we kicked his dimpled butt for 8 runs (5 earned) on 12 hits over just 3 IPs in a game the Mets held on to win 9-5 after taking an 8-0 lead* and by ironically I mean not ironically at all but since most sportscasters throw in that word whenever they mean even the slightest bit of coincidence I figured I'd use it here too And for those of you out-of-towners who normally DON'T have the MLB 'Extra Innings' package, this is the week they usually give you a free sample so check your local cable/satellite provider Edited July 14, 2011 by Guest
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Not to knock our KTE abilities...but Adam Rubin really does a great job with his series previews.

That means that Saturday's game is not available from these sources so if you don't get the game (see other thread), then you're not watching the Mets.Sunday's game is on TBS.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 When I see 'Cole Hamels' I always think of 'whole camels'. Don't know why, but I do and it makes me snicker.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Excuse me, waitress? I'd like a little Oil Spill instead of the Polanco, and... well... can I get a Mayberry/Rule V-guy salad instead of the Flyin' Hawaiian? Thanks, you're a peach.I'm not 100% certain, but I think our ex-closer's buyout for next season could pay the salaries for the entirety of the Phils' pen (sans Madson, who's still technically on the DL 'til tonight).

So you can track the game on gameday, but if you want to see Murphy's home run Saturday? nope, gotta wait until it's over.
