Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 It must be good to live in Ceetar's world where the sun is always shining you and warmly caressing your skin. Ceetar is the eternal Mets optimist and truly embraces Tug's edict, "Ya Gotta Believe!"
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 I agree, though. This team fought and hit and fought and hit the whole game. One break, maybe one and a half, seperated them and the Yankees. We've seen too many Mets team fall behind early and, even though the game is still within reach, go five innings without a baserunner or something. They came up short. And we know that happens. But they made the Yankees use seven pitchers (seven!) in giving up two runs.Keep grinding, good things will happen. Maybe fewer good things against top teams than against others. But the season is long and hard.Oh, and get your players back on the field. That'll help too.And sign Reyes.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Kool-Aid-loving families of 6 don't go through as many pitchers in a whole year.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Ah, they're all depressing. I don't see why this should be moreso.
