Ice down the Leinies -- we got a rubber game to win!

(Didn't see Ashie started an IGT. Combine or delete or whatever.)

Yeah, I just got that.

I also question your choice of beer. Let's still to micro and go Sprecher. They make some yummy sodas too.

Although a Leine Summer Shandy or Berry Weiss is a pretty good beverage for the casual drinker.

Enjoyed a Leinenkugel Honey Weiss when last at Miller Park. But Sprecher makes a damn fine root beer, indeed.

I need to get to Miller Park. In fact, given my interests, I really should visit every park named for beer. I got Busch, inbetween 2 and 3. Been to Coors.

been to Landshark when it wasn't Landshark..

I just noticed Misplaced Enthusiasm Thread is M.E.T.

Any time you want to go, let me know. It is a pretty great ballpark for beer and a decent one for food.

I dislike the architecture and design (especially the roof and lighting), but the sightlines are all good and the Brewers do an awesome job of making it their own.

What was with the roof randomly leaking btw last night? Gary seemed rather concerned.

It seems wrong to plan a trip now when the Mets are done there. maybe next year. hmm.

I was watching the Brewers feed last night, so I didn't catch that. I know it was raining off and on last night and that they can open and close the roof in a matter of minutes. Perhaps they were opening it between showers and the water collected on top was dripping over the sides. It started out hot last night and it didn't look like they were pumping any AC.

It sounds stupid, but the past few times I've been there, I've climbed WAY up top beyond the left field foul pole in section 442 to watch the second half of the game. There are usually no fans up there and you can see the whole field except for the center field wall. It also faces the sunset which you can see through the glass panels on both sides of the field. It's my favorite place to be.

Retractable roofs don't always entirely tract. The BOB famously wouldn't completely shut during the ninth inning of the seventh game of the 2001 World Series (a.k.a. Nirvana).

One onetime visitor agrees heartily.

Great piece, and a nice park with knowledgeable fans.
