Wasn't this the one where he hurt himself in a rundown? He later had a little bit of a setback and that's when we got Ike.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 No, he Ike took the job from Jacobs after a month of excelling in the minors while Jacobs was failing in the majors. Murphy later got spiked during a rehab game. Not semantics.

(blowing? no that's not right) When Murphy's return wasn't eminent is when they promoted Davis, and that's when they shifted Murphy's rehab to second base and when he got spiked. In fact, Murphy might have a beef with Jacobs as if he was holding down the fort maybe they don't promote Davis right away and let him get more seasoning.

He fell to his knees after trying to squeeze the trainer's hand Thursday night.Mike Nickeas replaced Thole.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Thole and Tejada both negative. Thole will see a hand specialist tomorrow to be sure. Collins asked Adam Rubin to identify the bone he was talking about for him in the post-game while pointing to the bone on the wrist just below the hand. (Adam didn't actually know)

Randy Niemann says Santana will be ready for spring training.Reyes' hammy is still bothering him but playing through..Zee link..http://www.nj.com/mets/index.ssf/2011/09/mes_johan_santana_feels_rehab.html
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Two thirds of Mets outfield out with headaches and being watched for concussion syndromes. The third third is apparently back after a sinus infection. It'd be nice to get resolution on these before the season ends.
