Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 This thread continues the Continuing Careers thread, which can be found ending here, and will later be found in our archives among threads started in January 2010.We start with Koo Dae-Sung, still bringing it down under, and still remembered for doubling off of Randy Johnson.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Tim Redding signs a minor-league deal with Los Angeles, as the calendar turns over and fringey veteran pitchers start to fall.Tim, every day you and Brian Lawrence become more and more the same person.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I'd like to take this opportunity once again to say what a completely worthless piece of shit Tim Redding was as a Met. At least with Brian Lawrence you had no expectations. Not that Redding's were anything more than modest, but he so underwhelmed those, doing jack shit in the exact role he was acquired for until it was way too late. Fuck you, Tim Redding. I hope Albuquerque loses 100 games in 2011.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 What do you do if you're a smart pitcher of limited physical means, and you've been so beaten up-- both injury-wise AND on the mound-- that even the Royals won't take you back on the cheap?Well, Brian Bannister says, "Konnichiwa, Tokyo!"
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Phil Humber, a DFA instead of an A.
