bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 The question for the floor: can a person by a MFY loving douchebag but still be a good guy and/or do a good thing? Why do I ask? I'm running in a charity race next month and sent out a mailing to some people soliciting a contribution. A MFY loving DB I know (who knows where my baseball heart lies) sent a generous contribution in the amount of... $27.00. Yes, he used "27" on purpose (I asked). So at once, he performed a generous, charitable, act and yet still acted like a MFY loving DB.

The contribution that got me to goal came from a Phillies phan. The guy did a good thing. He just did it in a douchey way.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Well, if he ever asks you for a charitable donation, you only need to feel obligated to give him $2.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Is he loaded? Why does he use his Yankee jones as an excuse not give more, like at least a round $30?I'm just kidding. Why don't we know about this solicitation? I'm sure we'd all happy contribute $2. See, I like the Mets, and...(OE: And Grimmy steps in front of me and KAPOW!)
