I just bought the Reyes jersey. Grandma sent me a $20 check for Xmas yesterday, so I'll pretend the jersey is from her with $2.50 kicked in by me.

I'm thinking that these are on sale because they're obsolete as field jerseys (pinstripes phased out next year in favor of "retro" cream, black "away" possibly because they're the already-obsolete "New York" blacks).

I prefer to think of 'em, though, as 2006 throwbacks.

just noticed that francour's other team jersey is on there too. you're probably right that most of these are either old players or jerseys that are 'out of style'.

even so, you usually don't see jerseys this cheap for star players.
