Yorvit Torrealba's pending grievance hearing against the Mets, on an issue stemming from 2007, is scheduled for Wednesday, SI.com reported on Monday.

Torrealba contends that the Mets falsely created the impression he was an injury risk, and with that, hurt his market when they backed out of a three-year, $14.4-million deal following a physical a couple of years ago.

But that may not stop New York from pursuing him.
