Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Cartoon Fox tired of living on the straight and narrow plots to steal some chickens. Hijinx ensue.I LOLed through more than half of this movie (especially the first half), left thinking it was terrific, though can barely remember why. George Clooney is unbelievably magnetic, the look and music is perfect, the story warm and redeeming if a little wobbly by the end.First theater experience for Lunchpail, total success. 97% of it went over his head but he laughed because I laughed and he loved seeing the animals dance.

Guest cooby Guests Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I haven't seen it yet but I would like to...foxes are my favorite animals and the pix of them in clothes just tickle me pink.I'll take little Lunchpail's advice and try to go see it
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I haven't seen the film, but, given a chance, I'd've have voted Samantha Fox.

soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I saw it too.Very good. Clooney's great and so is Jason Schwartzman who voices Clooney's son Ash.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Just rented it. Totally agree with everyone here. Liked it a whole lot.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 LWBetterHalfer saw it with her young nieces and was admittedly a bit distracted. That said, she tagged this as a yawner-- despite the art direction/puppetry, which she loved-- and warned me away. The only thing I was iffy on was the Clooney casting (it's a bit distracting). I laughed or smiled pretty constantly throughout, especially at the "character moments" and Fox/Kylie interactions (lost it at the stoned-looking Kylie closeups). LWBH was superwrong, and can eat a bag of dicks*.*Don't tell her I said this. When she gets mad, she gets stomach pains, and I get mysterious bruises.
RealityChuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Saw the video this weekend. Excellent film. Clooney was good but the dialog was the real star. Funny, great characters, good story.
