nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 No, this isn't a thread about Darryl Strawberry or Dwight Gooden.Billy Wagner threw an inning for St. Lucie yesterday, striking out 2 batters. At least someone has actually started a rehab assignment.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I think it was Gary who noted during last night's broadcast that Wagner was throwing 94 MPH. Not too shabby. Hopefully he can hold it together.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Of course there was also the story about Reyes suffering a set-back yesterday, or, as they put it, "had a bad day".Come to think of it, "had a bad day" is the same sort of thing they say about the other kind of rehab too.
