Kotchman is a gap hitter with a mediocre OBP, I wouldn't really want him. his career ops+ is 98, its 105 the last 3 years, the mets need to find a way to do better than that at first base.

So LaRoche goes from Atlanta to Pittsburgh in 2007, and then from Pitt to Boston then back to Atlanta in the span of the last 3 weeks. He amassed all of 19 ABs w/Boston.
