Kotchman is a gap hitter with a mediocre OBP, I wouldn't really want him. his career ops+ is 98, its 105 the last 3 years, the mets need to find a way to do better than that at first base.

Kotchman really isn't cut out for everyday duty, but I can see him as a Tony Clark kind of player. I don't know what we'd offer in return, though.

So LaRoche goes from Atlanta to Pittsburgh in 2007, and then from Pitt to Boston then back to Atlanta in the span of the last 3 weeks.

He amassed all of 19 ABs w/Boston.

Kotchman is another first baseman that can hit .280 with 10 HR..ughh
