Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Problem is pitcher's spot is due up this inning and I think we're out of healthy bodies to double-switch.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 If we're gonna sac bunt we could just leave the pitcher in to do that.

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 When was the last time the Mets pulled off a suicide squeeze?

The Mets have never pulled off a suicide squeeze. All joking aside... that the team's 2nd or 3rd in the majors in sac bunts, and hasn't squeezed yet this year is strange, and rather fucked.EDIT: The team is 2nd in the majors in sacrifice hits, after Cincinnati. Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 A pretty well-played game. Very little suckering until Feliciano came in.Even Cora made up for his error with some other nifty plays.
