I anointed him my favorite minor leaguer last summer after seeing him play a game for Binghamton at Reading. Nice to see him make the big team, even if only for a little while. Not sure what his future is if Tejada and Murphy work out and Wright stays (and I hope all three happen!) but that's a concern for some other time.

Jordany hitting .300 for the New Orleans Zephyrs. He's only five games into his season, though, after failing to arrive in camp until late and ending up in extended camp.

Jordany's a lot like Timo Perez. Fast bat, cocky attitude, a terror on minor league pitching, an enigma in the bigs, and he likes how he looks in his underpants.
