D-Dad and I made it until midnight, and then I woke up in the middle of the night to see what happened.

Left Coast games on work/school nights are killers. Luckily, we're getting the worst stretch of the season over with now.

I don't know how you other middle-aged people do it, staying up to watch West Coast games on a school night.

I was in bed at 10:45.

I may TiVo tonight's game and watch it tomorrow morning.

The key for me was spending the first 5 innings in an epic balance the checkbook/pay the bills session.

After that I was wiped and needed an hour or so to unwind so I watched. Nearly called it a night when Beltran came up wioth the bases loaded but his failure to get a hit kept me up.

The Mets Fast Forward of this game went straight from the top of the 2nd to the bottom of the 8th. Not too much happened during the game's creamy middle, according to SNY.
