It appears the guy we really wanted from Seattle in that trade was Sean White, not Sean Green.

White has a 0.96 ERA in six appearances for the M's, who by the way are in first place and don't seem to have lost anything while splitting closing duties between David Aardsma and Brandon Morrow.

They're in first place. They beat the A's yesterday by tying it up with 1 in the bottom of the 9th, again tying it with 3 in the bottom of the 13th, then won it in the 15th.

Jason Vargas was the winning pitcher.

Endy Chavez cooled off after a hot start but still hitting 300/390.

Green isn't fooling anyone is he? I thought he would be more of a swing and miss type of pitcher , maybe he is when he's on .
