bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 4 runs in the bottom of the first off Maine. Is it still too early to worry?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 I don't know. How'd his side session go?

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 To his credit, his next three innings were scoreless.Castillo, Church and Sneider are the three regulars in the lineup.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Pedro whispers are heating up again according to my sources.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 Maine got his last 9 hitters so maybe he figured something out. Connor Robertson has pitched well, though he has no chance of making the team.

I'd like to see a good start all the way through next time before I decide I'm not concerned.I wouldn't assume Robertson can't make the team, given that two spots are up for grabs. A bad outing or an injury by one of the guys ahead of him in the pecking order could put him in the mix. I do like the idea of having multiple relievers in Buffalo who won't kill you if you promote them, though.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 There's still plenty of time to sort this out: the Mets have 18 practice games left. This ST season is so long that it should have an all-star break.
