They showed that yesterday, too.
Maybe its an exercise to strengthen the hamstrings.
The announcers noted it yesterday, but none of them could come up with a reason.

This is, of course, yesterday's game, as I realized after watching for a couple of minutes, but I missed the guy running backwards on a leash yesterday.
