Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 The Mariners just fired their manager, too. Outrage! What laughingstock of an organization fires a guy at 1 p.m.!

Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 What time was it when the reporters found out in Tokyo?
Guest holychicken Guests Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 They clearly did this during the uproar over the Mets COMPLETE BOTCHING!!!!!! of the Willie firing hoping that it would detract from them. How despicable!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 I just watched a video report from Jayson Stark on the goings on this week , specifically in regarding Seattle Stark claimed one of the reasons the Seattle GM was fired is becasue he didn't want to fire McLaren , and that according to Stark and baseball chatter in Seattle Bedard is on the block. Reports have Bedard as a lazy good for nothing fuck who is pitching rubbish.Stark claims Bavasi was under pressure to trade him and didn't want to do that.
