metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Gary's memory was great , as an 11? year old his Dad took him to Shea for the game where the Mets clinched their first division title , Gary skipped school which was a big deal , he made his way onto the field for the celebration and took some sod which he kept in a plastic bag for years in the family garage.
