Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 My Daily News todsay sez Brady Clark has changed his mind about retirement and signed on with AAA New Orleans. The reports before were that "teammates suggested" Clark would retire; I guess this is what jocks typically do.Joining Clark in AAA will be Claudio Vargas, who I would guess quickly vaults to the front of the line for emergency starters. Although "competitor/teammates" in AAA Tony Armas and Ruddy Lugo are both having good success as starters so far. Vargas makes his first start for the Zeffs on SaturdayAlso, OF/1B Valentino Pascucci has been signed and assigned to AAA. Pascucci had a cuppa joe with Omar's Xpos in 2004 (Homering off Al Leiter in Leiter's final Met appearance); most recently released by the Phils' AAA team.
