Start Seaver.

]The inexplicable happened on this date over a period of years. Tom Seaver started for the Mets on April 26 in 1970, '71, '72 and '74. He not only won each start, he pitched a complete game in each and never walked a batter. His composite pitching line for the four starts was 36 innings, 24 hits, four runs (all earned), no walks and 25 strikeouts. His ERA: 1.00.

And with Scheider's mysterious infection having him on the shelf maybe
we can get Groat for him to throw to.

Beats the other 48 ideas I heard on the radio today and read online.

I'm kind of in favor of the strategy out of Meatballs - pants the opponent and make a run for it.

The way this team has been playing, Seaver would pitch a complete game 2 hitter, and allow a solo home run to Chipper...but Hudson would no-hit us.

Give Wags the ball to save it.

Feels funny typing that, but he's been spectacular.

(please don't someone type let's see him do it in September)
