How does Grimm have 4 and I have 2? We each had 2 correct picks and one wrong one.

Three for a correct guess and minus one for an incorrectie.

I forgot to give you points for Fischer 1964. Sorry, I'll get those out to you in 7-10 business days.

I know Pete Harnisch got dragged out a lot in 1996.

Viola seemed to get smashed around a lot in 1991 despite being Frank Freaking Viola.

Some of those Torborg and Green teams still curl my toes.

I bet you're off a little. Kooz in 1977 went 8-20, and you don't get 20 losses unless you're pretty good -- if that makes sense.

At the risk of adding to my negative total, I'll poach from Grimmy and bump back a year to 1977.

Harnisch 1996 had 91, a shelling short of the leader board. Viola '91 is correct. He and Astacio 2002 each gave up 102. Koosman 1977 is also in the clear.

1. Roger Craig, 1962: 117 Runs (Doc Tee)
T2.
T2. Jay Hook, 1962: 115 (Ben Grimm)
4. Al Jackson, 1962: 113 (Ben Grimm)
5. Jack Fisher, 1965: 111 (sharpie)
6.
T7.
T7.
T9. Frank Viola, 1991: 102 (Metsguy)
T9. Pedro Astacio, 2002: 102 (metirish)

11. Jack Fisher, 1964: 101 (sharpie)
T12.
T12. Al Jackson, 1963 (Valadius)

Grimm	sharpie	DocTee	Gwreck	metsguy	seawolf	valadius	metirish

How does Doc Tee have six points? I only see him on the list one time. Or do you get double for the mostest runs?

He also has blue eyes.

No, I must've given him three that were rightfully yours. Fixed.

Must. Get. In. Positive. Territory.

Mike Torrez sucked rocks in 1983.

I fear that my hero Tom wasn't far behind or even exceeded, but I won't make that a guess. I'll stick with Torrez

Torrez is correct. As is Leiter.

1. Roger Craig, 1962: 117 Runs (Doc Tee)
T2.
T2. Jay Hook, 1962: 115 (Ben Grimm)
4. Al Jackson, 1962: 113 (Ben Grimm)
5. Jack Fisher, 1965: 111 (sharpie)
6. Mike Torrez, 1983: 108 (metsguy)
T7.
T7.
T9. Frank Viola, 1991: 102 (Metsguy)
T9. Pedro Astacio, 2002: 102 (metirish)
11. Jack Fisher, 1964: 101 (sharpie)
T12. Al Leiter, 1999: 100 (metirish)
T12. Al Jackson, 1963:100 (Valadius)

Grimm	sharpie	DocTee	Gwreck	metsguy	seawolf	valadius	metirish
4 5 3 -2 2 -2 3 6

Sweet! I'm on a roll.

I'm gonna mix it up and go recent. Trachsel seems to fit the Torrez model and staying in games deep (unless its the playoffs), yet still managing to suck. The Art Howe era demands insertion! 2004?

Oh, and happy birthday, AG!

Thank you. Happy drinking. But no to Trachsel 2004.

Irish, how did you come up with Nino freakin' Espinosa in 1978 without peeking at sources?

I was suspicious when he came up with Pedro Astacio in 2002!

Ahh come on , pick on the fucking foreigner here, I'm taking educated guesses here.....jeez

OK, If Jack Fisher was that bad in 1964 and 1965, I don't see him getting much better in 1966 and 1967. In a bold move, I'll take both of those years and cross my fingers.

Astacio I could imagine (though I certainly wouldn't have come up with it). I was a domestic adult (just) in 1978 and I couldn't remember that by 1979.

Ooh, snap. You got #7. I'm out this evening. I'll update later.

I remember Pedro giving up a shit load of home runs as a Met, so because you wouldn't have come up with that it's inconceivable that I would?....

Nino I checked on but the others are guesses.....

I'm glad I checked back.

Points being lost all over the place.

Nanny O'Neill told me a thousand times. Never trust a broadback from Tiperrary.

Let me go against conventional wisdom for two picks:

Matlack 1973
Darling 1984

More conventional choices:

edit: I see these two were already guessed.
