Jeez, I just can't watch this. It's quarter to eight, the game started 6:30ish
and I feel like they've been playing since four and they've only played two-
and-a-half innings?

Anyway, here's an IGT if anything goes down ... I think I'll go rearrange the
sock drawer or clean the shower door.

Who the fuck is Graig Sager and where does he get his jackets, what a tool.

Just did a wiki search.....

]

Baseball
What many people do not know about Sager is that he is the fan who was waiting for Henry Aaron at home plate after Aaron hit his 715th home run. Sager can be easily recognized in the fracas at home plate after the home run because of his long white overcoat that he was wearing.

Does your TV not work? ... it's 4-2 seriously, I just used a racist word when I really meant "Guardians" thru 4

First pitch was at 6:38 (I happened to note the time) so it's 4 complete innings in 1:40 .... Sheesh!
At least the lengthy Phils/Rox game had 15 runs and frequent pitching changes to explain it.

4-3 thru 5

Sabathia's playing with fire.
Just 37 walks during the season in 241 innings.
Tonight he's BB'd 6 in 5 IP (1 intentionally) - but he just dodged a huge one, K-ing Posada and popping up Matsuiaftr loading the bases w/1 out.

Surprisingly he's getting hit by the lefties; HRs by Damon & Cano, plus an RBI 2B by Abreu

4-3 but coulda been worse. Bottom 5.

Sabathia retired Posada and Matsui K popup with the tying run on 3rd.

MFYs PHed Shelly Duncan for Minbky to start the rally. Ballsy in the 5th.

3 runs knock out the Wanger in bottom 5. Tribe still batting, 2 on v. Ohlendorph.

Cleveland's 5th inning is going well. Three runs in, two out, two on:

S. Duncan at first
- A. Cabrera walked
- T. Hafner flied out to center
- V. Martinez homered to deep center, A. Cabrera scored
- R. Garko grounded out to second
- J. Peralta doubled to right
- K. Lofton singled to center, J. Peralta scored
- R. Ohlendorf relieved C. Wang
- K. Lofton stole second
- F. Gutierrez walked

Ooops. 9-3.

Sorry Steve J. Rogers. You're boyfriends are getting beat up.

This is good. 11-3.

Curious that the MFYs would bring Ohlendorf (9 IP all year) and Veras (6 IP) to the postseason.

I feel bad for those not watching divisional series play on TBS. They haven't
been told 2,146 times that Frank TV is coming November 20th.

I don't even know who the funk he is but I hate him.

OE: other than the Frank TV love fest, I like the toned down approach (pro-
bably low-budget) production over that which ESPN, FOX, etc. would have for
events like this.

The Indians give me reason to hope for the Mets. The big difference between the 78-win team last year and the 96-win team this year is that last year their bullpen was horrible. This year their pen has some serious depth (outside of their closer Borowski, who managed to hold on to his job despite the presence of four guys with ERA's more than two runs better). I think the addition of one really good guy in the pen and a couple of decent guys would make a huge difference, given what they'd be replacing.

Gotta tell you, I'm liking this post-season so far -- at least as far as any non-Mets post-season.

12-3 is your final.

Joe Torre is not worried, they've battled and will battle again.

KC - "Joe Torre is not worried, they've battled and will battle again."

Torre doing his Art Howe postgame impression.

I love happy endings.

I never heard of the guy until two days ago.

This was a game the seriously, I just used a racist word when I really meant "Guardians" really neeeded. Falling behind with Sabathia on the mound would have been a big blow even though they only got 5 inings out of him. I'm not so sure I trust Carmona as much; he's right-handed, younger, less experienced, tends to walk more batters, etc.
On the other hand Pettitte is perfectly capable of throwing a stinker.

Never heard of him either until I tuned into TBS.

I've seen him on Letterman a bunch of times. I've only seen him do impressions of George W. Bush and, most frequently, John Madden. Since I don't watch NFL games, I don't know if his Madden impression is any good. His Bush is okay. World's greatest impressionist? I wouldn't go that far.
