Delgado comes back tonight so it's only natural that Beltran goes down (who knows for how long?) since the last time Beltran was down was just after Alou came back.

I count 45 times thru 153 games that Delgado, Alou & Beltran were in the starting lineup together -- and that includes 28 of the first 35.

That's a basketball injury. A jumping injury.



I wanted Pedro back. I didn't want to need him to be back. But now we do.

Bruised knee, gimme a break, that ain't bad.

The man is young and in shape, by all rights he shouldn't be out more than one day if that.

Nastier than him boppin off the walls was they way his legs collapsed accordian style as he hit the warning track.
When you lose control like that its very bad, because its like you no longer have any legs.

I know how that feels cause it happened to me once,
the result of a rushed gravity bong in college.
