Twins GM Terry Ryan Resigning

After 12 years as Minnesota's GM, Terry Ryan has decided to resign. Although the Twins have been pretty good in recent years, they've slumped this year, and Ryan's been faulted for signing aging, unproductive veterans and failing to lock up their stars with long-term deals.

That would have been the obvious next move for him, but now it's been announced that he's staying with the Twins as a "senior adviser."

I just hope the Twins don't do what Florida did after 05. Unless Johan comes here at a discount, of course.
