The Arizona Diamondbacks currently have a record of 81-63 despite having score 628 runs while allowing 657 surrendering runs to the opposition. They must have won a great number of tight games while being on the wrong end of a few lopsided blowouts.

The Mariners seem to be borrowing a page form the Diamondbacks winning formula. The Mariners compiled a record of 75-66 despite going 2-8 in their last 10 games. They have scored 699 runs while allowing 712.

I don't know what each teams win expectancy would be for the season, but it would seem as though they have both been more successful that the run totals would lead one to expect.
