Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Twelve hits tonight, but the last --- Beltran's long double --- was the only one for extra bases. I know it's Florida, and I know warmer weather tends to bring more clout, but there hasn't been as much extra-basin' as I'd hope to see. And they certainly aren't playing smart enough to win as a singles-hittin' team.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 2006 Mets- .264/.334/.445 2007 Mets- .279/.350/.436 +.015/+.016/-.009 who knows how this will look at the end of the yaer but right now theres has been a .009 dropoff in SLG% from last year (more than made up for by the OBP gain) and thats probably a significant number when talking about a whole team (.009 would be insignificant for a single player.)
