Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 "Kiddie Watch" was too spooky. But I was just staring mouth agape at the UMDB postings of Mark Bradley Jr. ('have you seen my daddy") and while trying to see for myself whether it was legit came across (not literally) Marvell Wynne II, the son of the Met farmhand of the same name, today playing soccer from the MLS Red Bulls (connection: Mark Bradley Jr. and Marvell Wynne II attended the same HS, if what I read was so). Anyway, I remember the original Marvell (traded to Pitts for Junior Ortiz IIRC) and was sorry he never wound up a Met because he had such a great name. I'm old.Anyhow, seeing as this news didn't fit the Brogna or "Continuing Careers" threads, I thought maybe if when there's Met offspring making news, you could put it here. The world is a strange place.

Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 I've sometimes wondered how Marvell Wynne ended up with the same given name as this guy:
