Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Let's see... Ted Williams is probably my number one choice among all players. I also missed most of the great Mets. I would love to have seen Tom Seaver pitch at least once. I would want to see Kong hit one home run. I missed Doc Gooden in his prime, and never saw him with the Mets. Let me put it this way: I was born the last time the Mets were the defending World Series champions, the first baseball memory I have is knowing that I like the Mets but they stink and the Blue Jays are the World Series champions, I only started following baseball at a time when the Braves had annoying commercials interrupting my favorite cartoons that bragged about their '95 championship, and the first baseball season that I remember following in full is 1997. So I missed a lot of baseball.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I can't name just one. The ones I'd really like to see are the ancient ones. Cobb. Matthewson. Johnson. Wagner. Keeler.
