Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 The Mets continued their slow, relentless crawl toward the post-season. Another game, another loss with minimal offensive production. To make matters even more frustrating, Beltran Perez isn't even lefthanded. The only real bright spot in this game was the return of Carlos Beltran to the Mets line up after missing 6 games with a strained quadriceps. His bat should help the offense to hopefully get back on track by the time the playoffs begin. We can only hope.I've been waiting for an opportunity to use this beer, so I had best go with it before I run out of games. This is probably as good an opportunity as I will get to use Hebrew Genesis Ale from the Shmaltz Brewing Company of Anderson Valley, California. It's the chosen beer.If only the Mets had won this game, they could have been enjoying the recently released Monumental Jewbelation Ale.
