Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 In Pedros second outing since his return from the DL, he showed that he could still be effective. His night only lasted 87 pitches and 5 innings, but it provided some hope for the Mets who will need him in the postseason. Unfortunately, his performance did not provide the Mets with a victory. The Mets offense continues to struggle of late. The hits and more importantly, the runs seem hard to come by recently. Endy Chavez and Carlos Delgado were able to find some success at the plate last night, but unfortunately the remainder of the teammates could not.Best to forget about this game and look to the future while enjoying a few chilled bottles Lunacy Belgian Style Golden Ale from the of Heavyweight Brewing Company of Ocean Township, New Jersey. Just be sure to save a few for our POTG to enjoy.
