Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Last night featured the return of both Tom Glavine and our resident Astros fan, Annie. It was great to have them both back. Glavine looked good the first time through the Astros order, but things really got ugly in the 4th inning as the Astros put a five spot on the board. Luckily, the bullpen was again able to come in and collectively hold the line while the Mets offense staged yet another come from behind victory. If the Mets could only get some consistant, reliable pitching from the starting rotation there would be no stopping them. We celebrate another fine victory witn an assortment of quality brews that were graciously sent over by the fine people of Shiner, Texas. There's something to please virtually everyone, so find your favorite or simply give them all a try. Just remember to leave some for the team. There are a lot of nominees so we needed a lot of beer.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 It was nice seeing Annie again last night. It would be nicer if she would stick around for a while!
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I promise not to bump these again, but it would be great to get a few votes before tabulating them.
