The Mets continued their offensive onslaught in the series finale, but the pitchers stepped in to limit the Cardinals to seven hits and only 2 runs over nine innings. With the pitchers effectively controlling the Cardinal hitters, the Mets second straight series sweep at home was secure and the Mets extended their win streak to seven games.The Mets shall celebrate their seventh consecutive victory with plenty of Schafley Hefeweizen Ale from the Schafly Brewery of Saint Louis, Missouri.
