Heyman said Omar prefers Alou because he has a higher SLG pct than Shawn Green, "who is fading" and the money is less. The holdup is how quickly the SF GM feels his team is "out of the race"Some thoughts:The Mets have wandered in the NL wilderness for 20 years.
