Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 The Mets rallied with 4 runs in the eighth inning for a come from behind victory over the Marlins. David Wright's 3 run homer to left centerfield capped the scoring and was the deciding blow in the game. Having dropped the first two games of this 4 game showdown with the second place Marlins, this victory helped the Mets earn a vital split for the series. Today we feature a small microbrew from the Edenton Brewing Company on the shores of the Albermarle Sound in North Carolina. I only wish I could have delivered it to Shea myself, but unfortunately my schedule did not allow me to make such a pleasure trip this weekend. So in my absence, enjoy a case of chilled King David's Red Ale and toast a thrilling Mets victory.
