The Mets opened a can of Whoop Ass and put a severe beating on the Diamondbacks at Chase field. The victory secured a 4 game sweep for the Mets and the sixth win of the season for Pedro Martinez.

Ten different Mets combined for 15 hits, including 7 doubles and a triple in the game. Throw in the 10 walks issued by the Arizona pitching staff and you have a tired, but jubilient Mets team. Good thing the team has a well deserved day off tomorrow.

An awful lot of POTG worthy performances in today's game. We're going to need an awful lot of beer for this game since everyone deserves a bottle or two. Doubles seemed to be the order of the day, so tonight we celebrate with Allagash Double Ale.
