Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I'd never even heard of this movie but saw some favorable reviews and rented it. Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo play estranged siblings who lost the parents in an accident when they were kids. She's a single Mom raising an 8-year old in the small-town upstate NY home they grew up in; he's a drifter with a heart of gold but a temper and some recent run-ins with the law. She tries hard to be a good mom amid difficulty coming to terms with her own wild streak -- Matthew Broderick plays her boss, a little over the top but funny. Her kid takes to his uncle, but he's not always responsible. Watch it!Long story short: Dumb title, very good movie.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I liked this movie a lot. It made a Laura Linney fan of me (methinks she got an Oscar nomination outta this).
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Her butt in this flick could have won an Oscar for, um... "Best Butt"
