Lima's perfect record against the Brewers exploded into history with one swing of Prince Fielder's bat. I suspect that the more appearances Lima makes, the worse his career and the Mets season record both will become. He does not appear to be the answer for the Mets sudden shortage of quality starting pitching.

The Mets offense did its part, collecting 12 hits and 3 walks while producing 6 runs. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough on a night when the over worked bullpen faltered after another early departure by a Mets starter.
